“Was not their mistake once more bred of the life of slavery that they had been living?—a life which was always looking upon everything, except mankind, animate and inanimate—‘nature,’ as people used to call it—as one thing, and mankind as another, it was natural to people thinking in this way, that they should try to make ‘nature’ their slave, since they thought ‘nature’ was something outside them” — William Morris

Almond milk is the best - both by itself and as a milk replacement in recipes. About the weight loss - that's awesome! it isn't always the case though - i know many people who've gone vegan and relied on a processed vegan foods diet (sugar and flour are, after all, vegan :) and actually gained weight. I have to be very careful, myself, not to rely on a diet of coffee, pita and hummus (pretty much my diet during finals!). I'm excited to hear more - so keep us updated!
